Subete wa Umi e

Main theme of the play Kaisin Bessou (海神別荘). Sakura plays the role of a beauty who was sold by her father to the prince of sea (played by Maria) as his bride in exchange for treasures and safety. This song was sung after she got back from a rude-awaken-ing return to her home village, and found out that she indeed was human no more. she accused the prince of cursing her and did not wish to live anymore. The prince ordered his officer to execute her, but she asked the prince to kill her himself. The prince could not bring himself to kill her because he's already in love with her. Through the duet, she gradually learned how much he loved her and finally was able to love him back. One can feel the emotion of the beauty and the prince through this beautiful duet totally. Very balanced voices by Chisa and Urara. It's even better watching the live version of this song. Recommend to all sakura taisen fans.

Sega/Red has announced a brand new project for Sakura Taisen called Sakura Taisen World Project. In a news conference held in Tokyo, Red entertainment released information on 7 new games that are planned to be released in the next few years. Six will be on PS2 and also a PC version of Sakura Taisen 3. Click on the Sakura Taisen World Project to get more information on this exciting news.

Sega has released the details on this year's super Kayou Show. The title is "The Legendary Eight Dog Warrior" and the show will be held at Aoyama theatre from Aug. 15 to Aug. 25. Ticket prices are also announced and are about 1000 yen higher than last year. More details see Sakura Taisen official website.

Ohji san, the producer of Sakura Taisen series, has announced 2 new OVA series for ST. One series will have a story on Sumire's retirement and the other one will feature Parikagekidan and will have 3 episodes. Also, the new Super Live Kayou Show this summer will be from Aug. 15 to 25 at Aoyama theatre (青山劇場) in Tokyo. Advance ticket can be purchased starting June. 15. See Gamespot's report on the event.

Ohji's announcement was at the yearly Sega game show that's held at Tokyo International Forum Mar. 30 and 31. Nine seiyous in Sakura Taisen series are invited to do a talk show with Ohji. Live feed can be seen here.

Also, Sakura Taisen 3 was awarded the game of the year by Dorimaga magazine. Congratulations!

Finished the template page for sakura taisen site. Completed the first weekly feature introduction. This week's feature is Subete wa Umi e from Shin Kayou Zenshuu 3, which includes songs from the 5th Kayou show: Kaisin Bessou.
